What is SupaProof?
SupaProof is a public platform for creating Capsules — time-locked proofs that show your message existed before it was revealed. You write a message, set an unlock date, and commit it. Every Capsule is cryptographically hashed at creation, producing a proof record.
Once created, a capsule is permanent and cannot be changed or deleted.
When the chosen time arrives, the capsule unlocks and its contents are revealed publicly. Until then, only the title, description, and unlock date are visible. This creates space for future commitments, predictions, reflections, and statements that are meant to be revealed later, not immediately.
How It Works
1. Create a Capsule
Write your message, add a title and optional description, and select an unlock date. You may choose to remain anonymous or verify your identity via X.
2. Watch and Anticipate
Others can watch a capsule to signal interest in its future reveal. Watching is a way of acknowledging a capsule's existence and waiting to see what it becomes.
3. Unlock and Reveal
When the unlock time arrives, the message is revealed publicly. Anyone can view it, comment on it, and engage with what was committed in the past.
Groups: Shared Reveals
Groups allow multiple people to create capsules that all unlock together at the same moment. This enables shared experiences like predictions, competitions, challenges, and collective revelations.
Creating a Group
Anyone can create a group by setting a title, description, and unlock time. The creator receives a unique group key that can be shared with others to invite them to participate.
Joining a Group
To join a group, enter the group key or use a shared link. Once joined, you can submit your own capsule to the group. All capsules in the group will unlock simultaneously at the designated time.
Public vs Private Groups
Public groups allow anyone to submit a capsule directly from the group page. Private groups require the group key to participate, making them ideal for controlled access like competitions or friend groups.
The Reveal
When the unlock time arrives, all capsules in the group are revealed together in a randomized order. This creates a fair, shared moment of discovery where no single submission has positional advantage.
Key Principles
Permanence
Capsules cannot be edited or deleted after creation. This ensures that commitments and statements remain exactly as they were when they were made.
Public by Design
All capsules are public. There are no private or hidden capsules. This openness encourages thoughtful participation and shared anticipation.
Sealed Revelation
SupaProof's core mechanic is the seal. Once created, a capsule is cryptographically hashed and locked until its reveal conditions are met, ensuring it cannot be altered before being revealed.
What Makes This a Proof?
Every Capsule creates a proof record: when it was created, when it unlocks, who created it if verified, and the content hash associated with the original message.
The content hash is a SHA-256 cryptographic fingerprint generated from your message at the moment of creation. When a Capsule unlocks, anyone can verify that the revealed content matches the original hash — proving the message was not altered between creation and reveal.
This is what makes a Capsule more than a delayed message. It is a timestamped, verifiable record of what you committed to before anyone could see it.
Note: The hash is informational and provides a transparency mechanism. It is not a cryptographic guarantee of tamper-proofing the database itself.

Important Reminders
All capsules are public and permanent. Do not include personal information, sensitive data, secrets, credentials, or legally protected content.
Capsules cannot be edited or deleted after creation. Make sure you are comfortable with your content being permanently public before proceeding.
Think carefully before committing. Once a capsule is created, there is no way to change or remove it.
